Of the point scorers on that squad, they return all but two members, including sprinters Symone Mason, Shaniya Williams, and Kayla Johnson, as well as jumper Courtney Gibson and are the favorites to bring home the title. - T&F Team Scores - 4A Boys - 2.5 Points Separated 1st From 4th In 2016, Another Close One In 17'

Coming into the county meet, I had a feeling it might be a little different race compared to the other highly competitive races during this cross country season. - In Her Own Words: Olivia Ortiz

What a great cross country weekend! This weekend the Lakewood Ranch team and I ran in the Mountain Dew Invitational at the University of Florida. We all stayed in a hotel the night before since Gainesville is a three hour drive from Lakewood Ranch. That always makes for great fun and bonding time as a team. Though considered by many to be the top girls team in the state at the season's midway point, Lakewood Ranch still feels like they are the underdogs.
